Well this is a blast from the past! Hidden under my bed and completely forgotten about. One of my first paintings from school, circa 1988 (maybe 87). I seem to remember it being a limited palette study referencing a random black & white photo. Class was only 4 hours long, so this must have been done fairly fast.
