... not only my painting, but my blog posts. I apologize for that. The paintings are few and far between at the moment. My boys are staying with me for a couple of weeks throughout the summer, and I have no room for big clumsy teens and easel. They head back to their mom's for a short while this weekend, and I'm hoping to get a little work done then. In fact, perhaps a hike up near Lake Tahoe for some plein air painting. Who knows?
The current art show is going well (other than the judge not awarding my pieces and recognition). I may still win the Peoples Choice ribbon, and that would be highly needed for my fragile ego right now. I'm in discussions with another gallery to have a dedicated wall in an upcoming show before the end of the year. We'll see how that goes.
I hope to start writing more on here about process and medium soon. Stayed tuned.
