Success!

I feel somewhat vindicated, after what I deemed to be a failure in the judging of the last show.  Over the past 6 weeks, visitors to the gallery have voted this painting as their favorite.  I win a ribbon and some cash.  I don't know how much yet, but the ribbon is more of a declaration of success to my efforts than anything.  For once, I can be just a little bit happy with myself.  For once, my reemergence as an artist has been made worthwhile.
