After three sunflower paintings this weekend, this is the only one that's halfway decent. I was more intrigued by the macro composition than anything else. I've been using acrylics like watercolors lately. Originally it was due to my insubstantial funds, as paint is very expensive right now. However, I am really really enjoying the quick drying translucent layers.
