Lisa ...
This was my third attempt at this portrait and the only successful one, I feel. The other two were over-analyzed as I worked. Far too much time was spent on getting the colors blended correctly for a realistic portrayal. Far too much time was spent worrying about proportions and details. So tonight I gave myself one hour and a very limited palette. I needed constraints to push me into working quickly.
