Elephant ...

12x8, watercolor, 140 cp.  I really can't find anything to like about this. I knew where I needed to go with the image, but just couldn't get the brushes to take me there. Not happy at all. The only redeeming quality is that at a distance or with a smaller viewing size, it pulls together fine. It may or may not be finished at this point. I could start going over it with gouache "corrections" but fear that might just muddy the whole thing. I'll wait and see.
