The result of my Norwegian church challenge from a group of artists. I was completely out of my comfort zone on this. Its a large scale on a smooth non-absorbant board. The paint just sits on top and has to be worked on at less than a 30 degree angle, or runs appear quickly. I started with an ink sketch and had to work fast and loose. The entire project took less than 2 hours. Although it was cropped close, I may return to the original reference photo and paint the entire building on a more traditional paper.
